Legislative committee appointments

The legislative committees for the 78^th General Convention of The Episcopal Church were announced earlier this month. Six deputies from The Episcopal Church in South Carolina have been appointed by the President of the House of Deputies, the Rev. Gay Clark Jennings.

Legislative committees of deputies, along with parallel legislative committees of bishops, work before and during General Convention to review and propose legislation for the convention to consider.

Prayers for our deputation

On November 15, 2014 at the 224th Annual Diocesan Convention, Bishop Charles G. vonRosenberg led us in prayers for the Deputies and Alternates who will represent The Episcopal Church in South Carolina at General Convention in 2015.
